The taut wire fence systems are ideal for offering perimeter security and are generally an independent screen made of tensioned tripwires which are generally mounted on a wall or fence. Moreover, you can make the screen thick so that you don't need support for the chain wire fence. These types of home alarm systems are made for detecting any attempt made by the burglar to break the home security system. The benefit of these systems is that they can be operated with different switches or detectors for sensing the movement or motion at each of the high tensioned wires. The detectors or switches are arranged in a simple format.
The detectors and switches may be a simple transducer of static force or an electronic straining gauge. These alarms can reduce the unwanted calls made by birds and animals by adjusting the sensors for ignoring the objects which create the pressure on the wires. This kind of system is sensitive to intruders who are placed underneath the fence. A concrete footing under the fence can be placed to prevent the attack.
The fiber optic cables are used for detecting the presence of intruders by measuring the difference. The amount of light that is passed between the sensors is measured by the fiber core. If there is a disturbance in the cable, the light leaks out and the receiver detects the intruder. The wire is used for protecting the walls as well as fences of your house. The barbed type of fence offers a good physical deterrent by sending out an immediate signal if the tape is disturbed or cut. Other detections are created in case there is a change in the polarization. One of the advantages of this system is that it is identical to the Microphonic method of home alarm. The simple configuration makes it easy to install.
The H-field system of home alarms uses an electromagnetic field disturbance system which is based on the principle of two leaky or unshielded or co axial cables that are buried around 10 to 15 cm deep and are placed at a distance of 2.1 m from each other. The H-field transmitter emits RF or radio frequency energy along a single cable. The energy is thus received by the other cable. If there is a change in the strength of the field, it is rendered weak on account of the presence of the object by generating an alarm condition.
